Is this a pro-gun-rights website?

Does this website share the beliefs of Gun Owners of America, Gun Owners of California, the NRA and/or other gun-rights groups?

Does this website sympathize with law-abiding American citizens who have wrongfully or unjustly been denied Second Amendment rights?

Does this website believe that Gov. Brown and many CA legislators are too anti-gun?

Do you believe as I believe that effective "gun control" means steady hands and good aim so you don't miss the thug?

Do you believe as I believe that law-abiding American citizens with a history of mental illness are not guilty of any crime for that reason and should be afforded some legal process [currently there is none for CA 5250] to seek restoration of gun rights provided their mental illness is successfully averted and a licensed psychiatrist deems them sane enough to have a gun (not posing a danger to themselves or others)?

I will say that forcing an opinion on someone will not fly we are fair and like to keep it civil.

That is fair enough.

I am trying to identify and befriend new fellow members who share my sentiments about gun ownership, gun politics, 2nd A rights and gun laws in America.

I feel the 2nd A is often troubled politically by misguided general media perception about firearms freedoms, bad legislation and unsound policy.

Should it REALLY be complicated? Things are only as complicated as people and politicians make them out to be.

To me it is rather simple: if a law-abiding American is sane enough to be
out on the public streets, he or she is sane enough to own a gun for hunting,
self-protection and other lawful purposes, and if previously committed, should
at least have a fair chance to prove his or her sanity as was the case before 1992
when the ATF supposedly had 'enough funding' to grant such gun-rights-restoration opportunity.
