    1st Time Gun Owner from SoCal

    Hey CalGuns lurkers,

    Just purchased my first firearm, a G26. The purchase was mainly due to having a little fun plinking targets and to presue a CCW license. I live in the High Desert of SoCal (Victorville) and BLM shooting is near by. Which makes shooting a little easier to do and saving some cash from range fees at the same time...

    I served in the Air Force for 8 years as a Firefighter and was pretty comfortable shooting the M16 and M9 annually, shooting marksman on both...

                                                  Welcome! I've been going out to the high desert for target shooting for almost 50 years, and it's beautiful out there! Make your next firearm purchase a good .22 rifle for both fun and inexpensive plinking! After that, you'll need a good center-fire rifle, and.....by then, you'll be totally addicted!
