Howdy y'all.
I have referenced this site with increasing frequency over the last couple of years so I thought I'd add myself to the roster.
There s some very useful information here (after running it through my "grain-of-salt-ometer"). With all the convoluted new laws in various regions of the State, this site is a valuable resource.
I'm a 55 year old native Californian (Modesto), married to an ex Yolo Co. deputy. 4 kids, 3 love to shoot, the 1 is neither pro or con.
Recent purchases, Ruger 10/22. Shot it a bit, did some trigger work, bedded receiver, floated barrel. .... then ammo disappeared (new purchase, had no stash).
Got into archery last year. Moderate to high initial cost, bit as long as you don't lose arrows it's just the price of new string/cables every year or so.
Seeing the availability of handguns decreasing I bought a Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm last month (I can find 9mm ammo). I was looking for a 92fs (like my wifes) but this PX4 was a bargin (used, from a gun shop).
So again, howdy. Thank you for allowing me in. Looking forward to some good conversation.
