Bypassed Section For First Post, But Hello!

To keep it short,

Hello everyone, I'm happy to have found a state specific firearms forum and I look forward to expanding my knowledge base.

I don't own any guns, I did own a .22 when I was younger, but I'm in the market for a pistol and a shotgun and hoping to borrow from the experiences of others before making my purchases. If you have any feedback, I'll gladly reciprocate.

Quick background, I'm a full time student and have alot of interests. I'm hoping to make a new hobby out of my upcoming ownership. Here's to many years and tens of thousands of dollars! Cheers!

Posting questionably? If you or your counterparts have been incited by my initial post then I'd ask you to search deep to get over your emotional insecurities. Offtopic, but you guys need sleep and a pat on the head if you don't understand why I asked what I asked lol.

If you met a concealed carrier who had on him a gun that you understood to be illegal, who then further stated that this ownership was legal ( this guy is a wealthy businessman and owns several properties and laundromats in my city ) by a certain means you would call this into question as well. Particularly if you had any interest in owning said firearm. I suppose the logical thing to do wouldn't have been to come onto a forum custom tailored to firearm ownership ,and in my state no less, and to ask such an unreasonable question.

10 posts and already drawing the moniker. That's usually reserved for the likes of ca_patriot, or his ilk. If your friend really does have the pistol in question, set up as you say (threaded barrel, +10 round mag, no mag lock), it would seem that is asking for trouble in kommiefornia. Maybe talk to him so more about it and narrow down what the deal really is.

I would say mind your own businees and let him worry about himself. Thats usually what adults do when issues are debatable.

With that said, you seem to have a knowledge of "illegal instances" in regards to handguns. I can say there are plenty of firearm owners who dont make mention of threaded barrels, straw purchases and mag caps but you manage to list everything in one post.
