    I got cousins in Sunnyvale. It may be a bit far from you, but when I visit, I usually hit up Sunnyvale Rod & Gun Club for outdoor or Reed's for indoor. If you're into trap shooting, SRGC has got 5 trap fields.

                            Cheapest will be RR&G $10 Day

                            $10 to shoot for the Day as previously mentioned, not nearly as nice a facility as Chabot, and as mentioned the staff may not be the most chatty and friendly as Chabot, but they have a nice set of action ranges in back you can check out on Saturday and Sundays. Best deal in town for all day shooting though, and weather is usually pretty nice in the east bay. I work in Pacifica : )
