    CA Expat checking in

Howdy! I was born and raised in northern California. I still get over regularly for family and business (I build and sell AR500 targets, and they get cut for me in CA).

I've been traveling with firearms in CA in the past, and wanted to check on a couple things.

Can I, legally, bring +10 round magazines for my personal use in CA without getting locked up if caught?

Where do I go about finding public ranges? Is there a good listing?

What gunshows are worth going to? For tax/licensing reasons, I'd probably not be selling at the show, just demoing target systems and handing out info.

    Thanks!

I can answer one of your questions. You can not bring magazines larger than 10 rounds into California.Could cause you serious legal problems.

You can currently bring them in disassembled. You can not legally put them together in Cal. if they hold more than 10 rounds.

Cow Palace is probably the largest show in the Bay area.

Thanks gents! My little brother (still in CA) is finally starting to get serious about buying some firearms, so I figured I better start boning up on CA laws to help him out.

Appreciate the info. Based on the above signatures, selling from the sig is kosher here if you are a paying member, yes?
