    Question regarding form 4437

Hello everyone. I have a quick concern/question for you guys and hopefully you guys can help me out? I'm a resident of California and HAD a medical marijuana card and waited for it to expire (which it is now) and I am NOT going to renew it so i can purchase a firearm because of the ATF 4437 form. I shouldn't have a problem purchasing a Ruger 10/22 now that I no longer have the med card as it has expired?

If you can please help me out or send me in the right direction because I want to make sure I purchase the firearm legally .

    Thank you for your help

Hi Mike, Welcome to Calguns. I can't answer your question but you can use the search feature to see if someone has posted about this before. Another way is to check out the FFL Forum, see if anything is posted there, and if not, go ahead and ask. A lot of helpful guys and gals in there.

Somewhere on these forums I read the letter from DOJ. Don't mix Guns and Pot.

        That what you're talking about?

        Welcome.

Welcome Mike. I'm not sure of the answer myself ...
There is a lot of great information on the "calguns Foundation Wiki" information pages.
In fact I'd recommend even if you can not find your answer on the calguns Foundation information pages ( which is different than Calguns
.net ) there is probably a number or name of a good attorney who practices around firearms law as a specialty. good luck and I hope you find the answers you're seeking.
