possibly moving back to cali!

missing my family too much here in Georgia so plans are up in the air for moving back to California. i havn't posted on here in probably 2 years (been gone for 3) so i figured id say hey in this forum. so 1 quick question about bringing my guns with me i have
-ruger charger (this one seems you have to jump through hoops to get one in california but i didnt know how it would work coming from a gun friendly state)
-kahr cm9 (my daily conceal weapon, no external safety, no LCI. seems iffy on this as well)
-sks norinco (no problems here right?)

ive sold off all my others so far that arent being given to family out here. so whats the verdict? anything i SHOULD bring back?

thanks for the welcome back i think i worded my first post wrong im missing my family in cali from being here in georgia too long lol. i came to georgia for family and work, now im coming back to cali for the same reason. ill keep searching for my answers if no one else chimes in.

Welcome. Lots of info in the forums on bringing guns in. Assault weapons are no go. Handguns do not have to be on the state's "safe gun" roster. Magazines with +10 need to be left behind or broken down as parts kits never to be reassembled. Upon arrival, you will have to file a form with the AG and register all handguns. Cost is $19 for all.

so the kahr is GTG? and the ruger charger only if i lock the mag or should i sell it and not worry about it. theres alot of info on getting a charger in cali but none about bringing one in from out of state... but seeing as its an "AW" (lol) i just just leave it here huh. maybe ill trade my kahr to my brother for his xdm9 and call it a day
