question about RAWs

I have searched and know what I am hoping to hear, but can't seem to find a thread.

If we have to register our weapons as RAWs, does that mean we can put whatever parts in whatever configuration we want once they are registered?
I mean, once its registered as a RAW can I put a real mag, foregrips, collapsing stocks, etc all over my AR?

Yes, as long as it still meets federal guidelines such as 26" overall length, 16" barrel, etc.
