    delay of gun transfer

After a shotgun purchase on gun brokers.com on October 30th 2012 the firearm purchased was mailed to a FFL of my choosing, at its arrival we initiated the transfer process and 10 day waiting period after which i was delayed. As recenltly as july 2012 1 had transfered through a private party and at the same FFL dealer a Handgun with no delay. Now the CADOJ has said that they have changed the criteria as of March of 2012????? which supposedly states according to the clerk ,that an arrest in 1994 that did not result in a conviction must have a disposition of some sorts ANYWAY. THERE IS NO DISPOSITION OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER (EXCEPT RECORD OF ARREST) BECAUSE ALL RECORDS PRETAINING TO COURT PRECEDINGS HAVE BEEN PURGED THROWN OUT ARE GONE.ACCORDING TO THE SUPERIOR COURT IN COUNTY WHERE I WAS ARRESTED. I then asked DOJ if could legally own firearms , and they replied they did not see any reason why i could not OWN firearms. I Then asked if there was ANY REASON WHY WE COULD NOT CANCEL THIS TRANSFER AND START A NEW TRANSFER PROCESS IN MY SPOUSES NAME. (WE DO LIVE TOGETHER AT SAME ADDRESS) THEY SAY THEY DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT.,BUT THE FFL DOES, SOMETHING ABOUT A STRAW PURCHASE AND atf PAPERWORK WHICH ACCORDING TO FFL WONT PERMIT A TRANSFER TO ANYONE ON DELAY TO A SPOUSE OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER AT THE SAME ADDRESS THE FFL WANTS SOMETHING IN WRITING FROM DOJ. .WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS HERE i HAVE CONTACTED AN ATTORNEY WHO ADVISED ME TO FAX DOJ REQUESTING A FORMAL BASIS OF DELAY I QUESS THATS A START. damn.
