Howdy Ya'll
Noob to the forum from South Orange County getting back into the swing of things after a long absence. Grew up in a state (MI) with much less restrictive gun/hunting laws, and I sold most of them years ago when I moved here in 1998. I first was shooting handguns and rifles at 8 years old. I used to deer hunt every year, as well as small game. I owned level action 30/30's, 30-06, 12 ga, 20ga, 410's, 22 rifles, 22 pistols, and used to "borrow" S&W .357, 44 mag, 45 revolvers, and a min-14. Well, I am trying to get accustomed to the CA way of life with guns.......30 day handgun limits, 10 day waiting periods, 10 round clips, bullet buttons, no CCW issuance in most metro counties pretty much (unless you're sleeping with the sheriff), all private transfers thru a FFL dealer, not to mention the long gun registration act to be implemented in Jan 2014 by Gov. Brown....yadda, yadda, yadda....
Anywhos...I be hangin' around, and I be a clown (most times), so I hope be edumacated by the experts. I am a moderator on an online MC forum, so I know how it can be frustrating to get the same question over and over (we get "what kinda oil should I use" daily) and do some research myself...however, eyez might ask a repeating question here and there so please be gentle and use lube on this virgin. lol
BTW, I almost forgot, I have a Sig Sauer 9mm P2022, and I plan on getting some Remington 870's (grew up with them) field, and tactical (or a Benelli SuperNova), and a Ruger Mark3 22pistol as soon as the general approves it, and I have the $$$. I would like to try skeet again (been over 20 years) at some point, but not sure when.
