Looking in the Roster of Handguns approved for sale in California, as of Wednesday October 24th 2012, I see the Springfield Range Officer 1911 model#PI9128LP is not on the list.

    Sorry.
Don't under estimate the power of a letter.

Email, mail a letter, expressing a formal sincere concern about your 2nd amendment rights to your local representative, senator, congressman, mayor, etc...

The voice of one will become the voice of many. Public pressure will force legislation.

The gun is legal to own, FFL's are just restricted as to who they can sell one to. They should be available through private party transactions (PPT's) or through single shot exemption (SSE). Here is a link to the SSE thread: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=383692

Welcome aboard! Bob got you the info.
CalGuns Network (CGN) is different from CalGuns Foundation (CGF). Both need our support. I have gold name because I support CGN; plus, I send $10 every two weeks to CGF automatically via online BillPay as described here.

Support CGF by shopping at Amazon!
