Hi everyone! My name is Eric. At heart I am a hardcore automotive enthusiast, but I think I'm making the jump and switching to guns as a hobby, like a few of my friends. I don't see the point in modifying cars anymore, seems my money can be spent better elsewhere. I love automotive racing though, on the racetrack or attending American Le Mans races! Anyways, I've been a longtime lurker, but finally decided to register because I am finally ready to purchase a handgun tomorrow!
I've been going to the ranges for 5-6 months with family and friends, and I do think it is time for me to purchase a handgun. After borrowing Beretta's, XD45, XD9's, SIG's, and shooting a multitude of handguns using expensive range ammo... I have decided on a P226 BTFO in 9mm. Everything about it just feels "right" in my hands, and I just love it!
I'm quite excited and am looking forward to meeting other Calgunners on this new journey of mines. This is a solid forum, and I can say I'm very happy to finally join. Thanks!
