    Moving to San Mateo county

    Hi,

I am relocating to the bay area end of July with work from Pennsylvania. There I had a fantastic range nearby with 200 yard rifle, trap, handgun stalls allowing drawing and shooting, field archery, ... I also had a great training company consisting of ex marine/swat officers providing tactical training and hand-to-hand.

Can I find something similar in the bay area?

Also, i have a PA license to carry, but understand getting one in San Mateo will be very difficult...

Anyways, just wanted to say hi!

Welcome to the site. Where exactly in the Bay Area? What city?
Your license to carry is worthless here. Good luck getting one. Not impossible, but close.
If you have the option, just stay where you are!! lol.
    Welcome anyway.

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

^^^has no idea what he's talking about.

San Mateo county will issue with a heightened good cause to carry. It certainly is not close to impossible. With some well thought out reasoning, the sheriff will issue.

Used to be an awesome range, but moved away many years ago.
