There is a great wealth of knowledge here and I've learned so much in the last 2-3 weeks that I started tackling my first AR build ever! I've started machining my 80% lower for my AR pistol and got trigger, hammer, and safety holes drilled and reamed thus far. This friday I will be machining out the pocket for the fcg and safety. I'll keep you guys updated.

P.s. 7075 T6 aluminum is tough material compared to 6000 series.

Thanks for referring me to your gunsmith (I'm derek's friend), I have to get the front sight base and barrel taper drilled and pinned, and maybe have him check head spacing at the same time.
