    Finally!

I moved out to CA from IN last October and have found the licensing situation here to be somewhat offensive. Coming from a place where all of my friends had a License to Carry a Handgun to the land where you need a good reason as deemed by the local sheriff was a bit mind-boggling.

I'm joining the forum now as I am heartened by news from Maryland:
Maryland's requirement that residents show a "good and substantial reason" to get a handgun permit is unconstitutional, according to a federal judge's opinion filed Monday.

I'm hoping Heller has led to this and I will soon be able to exercise my rights again in my new chosen home.

Yep, saw that on Fox earlier too. I'm not gonna hold my breath that it will change anything here in Kalifornia but it's a step in the right direction.

CalGuns Network (CGN) is different from CalGuns Foundation (CGF). Both need our support. I have gold name because I support CGN; plus, I send $10 every two weeks to CGF automatically via online BillPay as described here.

Support CGF by shopping at Amazon!
