Search Function HELP?

I'm not new to searches on various sites BUT. It seems the search function here is very vague. Is there a search tutorial here? If not, how do you search specific issues/items without pulling up multiple pages that don't relate or may have ONE search word/item in their title or body? There's gotta be a way.

Sorry, but less is more when it comes to the search function here. You need to find one key word to get a more focused return. Others have searched using Google putting in Calguns and then your other key words.
