Whats up guys,
I'm currently in Visalia, grew up in the Madera-Fresno area. About to purchase my first gun looking at the Ruger sr9c.
I just bought a house and have been going back and forth over quite a few guns for home defense, first it was the Mossberg 500 cruiser shotgun, then I was looking at 22lr and 308 rifles. Decided to pass on these.
Now I'm i'm researching hand guns in so I could practice at the range while having something still decent for the home, the sr9c felt so right at Ace's Guns in Tulare. The reviews are great online. He also had a used browning that was pretty darn nice, but used.
I want to review a few more models possibly at Prk Arms I just learned about in Visalia to keep my options open. I've looked at the XD-9, Glock 19 and 13 they diddn't give the same feel as the ruger. Any other models I should look at, my price range is 400-700 that you would recommend before I pull the trigger?
