Although I have been in LA and shooting for the past 18 years or so a friend of mine just turned me on to this site. I've been out of the sport for a couple years but popped on to see if I could a few things in the "For Sale" section and read up on how things have changed over the years.
I honestly miss a great brick and mortar gun store like Pony Express (it's where I bought my first .22 as a kid among other guns). I've read up on a few places out in Burbank, etc but if anyone has a recommendation of a place to go check out, I would greatly appreciate it. I've done the Turner's thing and I don't feel like waiting in line for 2 hours just to look at what they have and ask some questions.
I also want to say a big thank you to everyone here for posting up the FAQ sections...have been a great help in getting re-educated.
