    Optic Ideas for M1A1

I have a friend that has a Springfield M1A1 with the top rail that partially covers the ejection port, he is looking to add optics for about 100 yard range, but cannot find anything that will work from the eye distance from the rail limitations. Anyone have any ideas on a brand or model number for him? Thanks for any ideas.
