Been lurking off and on for some time and decided to inquire as to a shotgun or two being offered for sale herein so I took the plunge and registered. 
My wife and I are originally from the Northeast but were stationed at Camp Pendleton in 1993 and we and our children simply remained here after I was honorably discharged.
Personally, I think California's the poster-child, politically, for what the rest of the nation should strive to avoid, but by all accounts, they seem to follow our lead on many issues, which means we're all in very deep trouble indeed, I'd reckon - LOL.
Still - this a beautiful place with varied terrain and wonderful micro-climates...and although there are good and bad people everywhere, irrespective of their locale or banner, we've met many a kindred soul out here on the west coast, so I'd say it's just another area in which we were blessed.
Center fire pistol and small bore rifle are my general shooting hobbies.
At any rate, I'm glad to have (finally) officially made my presence known.
