New Member from... Berkeley

Well, not "from" Berkeley, but I'm temporarily living here for school. I'm originally from the East Coast and moved to San Diego with the Navy when I was 17. I served four years, got out and enrolled at the local community college. I recently transferred to Cal as a junior majoring in economics. The City of Berkeley isn't as bad as I expected it to be, but it's definitely not my first choice of residence. Explaining to some of these people that it would be abnormal for a sailor on a ship to kill another person proves to be difficult from time to time Anyway, I enjoy shooting. I have a couple of Soviet rifles and an HK USP .40. I've lurked for some time and finally decided to man up and register. I'm still waiting for the day of legal CCW for all sane, law-abiding citizens.
