    Hello all!

    I just purchased my first handgun on 10/9/11. I got a Springfield XD45 service for what I feel was a great deal. I got it for $400 from a buddy of mine. He bought it about 4 months ago and only shot 50 rounds through it. He needed the money to pay some bills and I've been looking at making my first gun purchase for a while now so I jumped at the opportunity. I'm 24 and live in the East County area of San Diego. I'm currently pursuing a career in law enforcement. Well that's my quick intro so see you all in the forums!

                      Does sound like a good deal. I've seen a few LEO's around here carry them. Welcome to the Club. Where are you? Santee, Lakeside?

                          About two blocks away from Granite Hills High School in El Cajon.

                          Lol I had to specify because when you say El Cajon the first thought people get is "the ghetto". I steer clear of down town El cajon. You from around here?

                              I'm up in Carlsbad, so to me El Cajon is an area to avoid period. Us North Countyer's are yuppie prisses anyways.
