Hey everyone. A friend referred me to this site, and so far it's been awesome. the community here is awesome as well. I am from up north in the sacramento area, I own a handgun and a rifle. and i hope this site would teach me more on what i want to learn. thanks.

Welcome. What rifle and what handgun do you have?

well, the rifle was my very first gun. the first gun that i've ever had and ever shot. and it was super cheap!!! It's a 1937 M91/30 Mosin Nagant, and of course, i bought it from Big 5 for $120 bucks. i could have waited for it to be cheaper, but i was anxious to shoot something.. lol. so yeah, i bought that and i went through the process of cleaning all that gunk " COSMOLINE" off. oh yeah, i had tons of fun doing that!

And just recently I went out hand gun shopping and grabbed me a Ruger SR40. I've done alot of research on this particular gun because i've gone into stores and tried alot of different other types of hand guns, but this ruger just felt so good in my hands. I know i could have gotten something better, but i feel really comfortable with this one. so i went with it. and i love it. so yeah, thats it for now. a mosin nagant, and a Ruger sr40.

For my next gun, i'm pretty sure i want an AR type rifle. either i learn how to build one myself, or just pick up one for a decent price.
