    Injury at the Range.

Just saw an injury to a fellow who was shooting a single action revolver .44 mag with reloads. he loaded up a full cylinder pointed pulled the trigger ,like most of us do,and next thing he feels is a pressure to his chest and painful right hand. The round went off in the turned wheel and blew the gate clean off the gun.Amazing! his left lower lens to his safety glasses was hit with shrapnel.he lives another day,the case of the round embedded in his upper chest wall! I rushed him into the trauma hospital. He's doing better. Watch not only your factory but your reloads too.I'm a firm believer in safety glasses after this episode!

Glad to hear he's doing better. I saw you guys sitting outside (I'm assuming you were the one applying first aid) waiting for the EMT's to arrive just as I was walking up. A very unfortunate accident, but it sounds like it could have been much worst. I wish him a speedy recovery and thank goodness for eye protection.

I didn't realize how bad it was when I saw Dennis and someone else (you?) attending to him as I walked up to the classroom with the SCTP kids. Our apologies for the young ' looky-loos' - we really didn't know what was going on.

Glad to hear he'll be OK.

Wow, sounds scary. Good job dealing with it and glad to hear he's probably ok.
