Hi people -
I made a 1st post in the centerfire rifle section, but I thought I'd pop in here and introduce myself here too.
I am 'WhisperFan' just about everywhere else that has a firearm talk forum that I visit. I picked that name because I really fell in love with the whole idea of shooting heavy bullets at subsonic velocity - I actually don't have a true Whisper made by JD Jones, but I do have a 300/221 Remington 700 with a 16.100" barrel that is scary quiet when shot with the suppressor. I actually have quiet a few cans .... for my 200.00 tax stamp, I'd rather have an SBR or a suppressor, than a full auto. I went down the full auto route and for me, they are just too expensive to feed
Anyway - I'm in very gun friendly southwestern Virginia, but I wanted to reach out to the CA shooters about a project I am undertaking .... please see my post (linked above)
