    Introductions

Good afternoon everyone. My name is Danny Henderson and I am currently in the USAF. Currently close to being in for 5 1/2 years, currently a Staff Sergeant. It looks like I'll be moving down to California to Beale AFB. Fun stuff. While I am finally exercising my right to bear arms(took me long enough), I did get a bit of the scoop from one of the vendors on how harsh the laws is.

The firearm that I own? A Glock 23 .40 calibur, 4th Gen. Once I get my hands on the 10 round magazine, I should be on my way to getting myself transitioned.

Me? I am not a hunting-type person. I just own a firearm for home protection and self-defense. More of a city-guy, but... I also feel that as a military person, I should be well capable of handling many firearms(even if the Air Force does not let us use them all of that much).

Welcome Danny Henderson. Beale is not too far from my current location. There is a range (Spenceville) nearby, but a number of us Calgunners go to Oroville about once a month. If you could join us it would be great. Check: Shoots, meets and range stories, someone usually posts a time and date. You can PM me if you want to "hook up". I'm not a hunter either, but I love to go plinking. One session a fellow member brought cinnamon rolls and coffee, you can't beat that.

I'll definitely have to hook up with you when I finally get to Beale. I have a few months of training left, then we'll see how things go from here.

CalGuns Network (CGN) is different from CalGuns Foundation (CGF). Both need our support. I have gold name because I support CGN; plus, I send $10 every two weeks to CGF automatically via online BillPay as described here.
