Thought this might be a good idea for the beginners section for all of the acronyms that get used around here. Feel free to add everything I have missed.

AW = assault weapon
BG = bad guy
CCW = concealed carry weapon
FFL = federal firearms license
FTF = failure to feed
LEO = law enforcement officer
OLL = off-list lower
SHTF = s*** hits the fan

Just found another one on a different board (also a firearms forum =). Although this one also includes general forum acronyms as well as brands.

Damn, I knew there had to be a thread already! I searched it too. Maybe I spelled acronym wrong. Lol, that other thread should be stickied in the beginners section too, at least.
