My name is smitty and I have been around guns all my life, just like most of us here. My father has owned gun shops (retired now) all my life, so my hands have the smell of oil, hoppes, ect for life.
Like all here ( I hope) I have a deep love and respect for our Military, but was not able to serve unfortunatly. I was in a horrible accident at the age of 12 that bruised my spinal cord. I TRIED, and my father signed the paperwork for me at 17 for the USMC, but even signing the waivers they would not take me. I tried 2 more times under differant names and DOB's but they found out. Oh well...it was not meant to be.
I hope to be able to participate and help where I can on this forum, and be helped by many here on questions I have.
I have a ques about an AK my father has in Oklahoma, so I will start a new thread in the right area.
