Saiga 308 conversion

Hello everyone,

I'm new to calguns here and wasn't sure were to post my question...Here it goes, Does anyone know of someone within southern California that can convert my saiga 308? I've been tempted to do it myself but I don't want to ruin my rifle. Any info or advice will be appreciated very much, Thanks!!
