    What's going on.. A buddy on an offroad forum pointed me here -- excellent website..

    I just picked up a Glock 19 for home defense and I'm researching into the best corresponding ammo

                However, I do have a sensitive, hypothetical question to ask moderators:
                Am I allowed to sell used M4/M16 milspec 30rnd magazines here?

                      Yes, you can as long as you follow the law and sell them dissembled as repair kits for previously owned standard capacity magazines.

                        While there are some qualifiers the basic answer would be 'No, offering a magazine with a capacity greater than 10 rounds for sale in California is illegal'.

                        Okay, so those 'Qualifiers I mentioned?

                        This would be them!

                        As complete mags, No.
                        As rebuild kits to repair damaged existing mags, Yes.

                          Not to confuse the new guy with two different answers by two different people, but strangely enough, both answers are correct.

                          You cannot offer for sale in California a magazine with a capacity greater than 10 rounds.

                          You *can* disassemble them and sell them as repair kits.

                          From the link I posted above, scroll to the section labeled "Repair and Rebuild"
