    Introduction

    I wish to introduce myself to Calguns. I am a former Californian, living in Oregon since 1980, but visit often. I decided to register here after listening to Gene Hoffman interviewed on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk radio show on Aug. 15th.

    As a retired police officer and certified for HR-218 carry, it seems like a good idea to keep up on California gun laws, because I carry every time I visit.

    My background in firearms includes military pistol instructor, police pistol instructor, competitive shooting, hunting and concealed carry advocacy.

    From what I heard in the interview, you guys & gals are doing the Lord's work.

    The interview, if you missed it can be heard at;
    Tom Gresham's insight opens and educates the minds of people on all aspects of gun related issues.

    Yea, welcome Pioneer. I am sure you will find the many forums interesting. And, Wow - you have a lot of relevant experience. I mostly (plinker) shoot rifle and shotgun, but I know how important proper gun handling can be. Good to have you here.
