Hi.

Seems like Uncle Sugar wants me back in California. Sadly it seems like I won’t be able to live on base, or in a low crime area due to the absurd rents out there, so I’m here to look into the best CA compliant HD shotgun I can buy while out of state.

But it seems like the forums only go back a few days. Was there a mass delete, or am I just too green to get full access just yet (I’ve been a member at Maryland Shooters for nearly a decade so I get the drill on new guys).

I do enjoy California, it’s some of the most beautiful backcountry in the US, I’m just not all about the expensive prices within a hundred miles of the coast, and the gun laws are not my favorite.

I suggest you post a thread here in the shotgun section as SCB mentioned and ask for opinions vs. your budget.

I am definitely thinking the Benelli, I just wonder about that reduced capacity tube and the quality of aftermarket parts to up the capacity and keep the 922(r) kosher.

I think they are silly hoops, but I have no intent on becoming an accidental statistic.
