Hi all, I'm new. I'm a student diving into the murky (albeit shallow) waters of the 2nd amendment, and have been enjoying the conversations here. They have been quite beneficial! I hope I can contribute and become a part of the conversation here as well.

My name is Carl aka The DEUCE. I am a devoted husband and father of 2 (17 year old son and 12 year old daughter). Guns were never aloud in the house as a kid so I never had an urge shoot, until now. Last year a friend of mine took my son and I out behind Jawbone Canyon Ranger Station for a shooting tutorial. What a rush. Since then my son and I have attended a Gun Safety course at SharpShooters in Torrance, CA. Over the last few months I have acquired a couple of rifles and a pistol:
- Mosin Nagant M44
- Ruger 10/22
- Springfield XD .40
I want to learn more about the Commi-fornia gun laws that are restricting me from having more fun within this state as well as meet some peeps with the same interests.
