Sorry but I'm in LA County and can't recommend a place but I'm sure others will chime in. There are also regional subforums that may help.

Soon to be CA resident

Hello all, I am relocating from Utah soon and this forum has been very helpful to navigate the very different set of laws here. I have a fondness for the very first types of pistols (hence the name Wheellock); I also like Bullseye competition and a little of everything else. The new home will be Victorville area; I hope to meet some of you in person soon!

Well I miss midwest, also I had great Skeet and rifle range 45 min from house.
But weather here is amazing, and you know, you go where oportunity is.
I'm looking forward findin some ranges close by Mill Valley.

Im not sure if this is were I Should ask, but I'm looking to get rid of some of my pistols. Will I raise some eyebrows if i put like 5 pistols on market?

Some people here are cautious with new sellers with recent join dates and zero I-Trader rating.
Nothing personal, but we do get scammers at times.

Keep in mind that in CA you can only have 5 handgun "transactions" in a year.
To keep that number down, multiple guns can be sold in one transaction.

Make sure that you read the Marketplaces Rules in the stickies section of the Market.

Also, proofread your post before submitting.

I did not know about 5 handgun transaction a year. One transaction one person buyer? Or one transaction can be couple buyers?
Is there a scam seller should be aware? I-trader?

I-trader is when you buy/sell/trade with another member.
After, you can each rate the transaction, typically positive.
The rating is to the right of the username bar.

Since DROS in the name of the buyer, I don’t believe you can stack them to separate buyers.
One buyer could buy multiple guns on one transaction.
If you need to be sure, post up the question in “General Gun Discussions”.
Many better legal types will be able to help.

There is a scammer list, but it is far from comprehensive.
