Hi !

I am 28 and I am from Switzerland.

I am a shooter and a gun collector and own approx 30 guns. this goes from 1847 Colt walker replica to a DoD Stamped Colt M4 (M16A1 lower) , and of course my Swiss issued SiG550.

I started collecting western era replicas (Uberti's 1866s, 1873s, henry, Quigley Sharps, SAA) but I ended up collecting whatever throw lead at a significant speed

My last buy is that M4, and since it is my second, I will now transform my 1st one (XR-15 M4 SDI, semi only) into a mk18mod0 replica.

I was introduced to this forum by a member, on AR15.com , and also heard about it on THR.

I'm sure I'll find many interesting things to read in here.

Hey there everyone. First a little about myself. I'm a 20 year old college student from the San Fernando Valley. I got into guns because of my dad and have started studying all I can about them and collecting old surplus military rifles. I found this website while searching for info on owning an SKS in California. I'm looking forward to learning much more.

New guy here. I've actually been surfing this site for some time now...just got caught up reading all the threads before I could even introduce myself. Nice site...lots of info. A little history of myself...at least firearms wise...My first rifle was a Ruger 10\22 from my pops. My cousins introduced me to the black rifle and gave me an intro on what needed to be done to make it legal. Found this website and fed off all the info you guys provide. Thanks! So I acquired me a LCW-15 and built my 2nd rifle...an AR-15. Took me a year to acquire all the parts because I collected bottles and cans to save money for this build! Don't worry, I didn't have to dig through dumpsters...I had a lot of daily donations from work and the apt. complex I used to live at. 3rd firearm was a Beretta 21A I got on consignment just 3 weeks ago...pristine condition in box w/ manual, never been fired...$175. Now...I'm trying to go through the hoops in acquiring an AR pistol. Thanks everyone....and Help!

Been lurking for quite a while now and finally joined a little over a week ago; figured it was about time I got sociable and introduced myself...

I've been shooting since I was very young, although in deference to my wife I took a long break after my kids were born. They're shooting now, and have shot .22s rifles, 12ga shotguns and .50 muzzle loaders over the last few years. Lately I've been teaching them how to use handguns.

I'm definitely a no-frills guy as far as guns go; I like simple paired with enough range time to maintain my marksmanship/skill (to the extent I can call them that). For years my primary handgun was a S&W Model 19 Combat Magnum (.357, 6" barrel), which was replaced by a Glock 17 ~14-15 years ago. I still own the S&W, just don't shoot it as much anymore. I've also owned a Mossberg 146B .22 rifle for most of my life and will be adding a new Big5 Mossberg 500A shotgun combo later this week.

Hello All - just wanted to check in as I've been browsing the site for a week or so now, and just got approved to post. Just a fellow gun owner and gun lover from Southern California.

Stopped by the gun show last weekend in Ontario. Picked up a couple of CMMG stripped lowers from my buddy Adam over at Cold War Shooters. It will be my second AR-15 build once I decide exactly the kind of AR-15 I want. I also own:
Ruger 10/22
XD40 Service Model
Sig P239 40 S&W
AR-15 (Doublestar lower, Del-ton Upper)
Remington 870

Pre-newbie entrance

Hey, I am the new guy...(insert laughs and jeers)..ok, thats out of the way. I am new to owning a gun and have been attempting to make them since I was 3...out of wood, which Is why I grew up to be a carpenter. I just "discovered" the exhilaration of shooting. You know, pulling the trigger, feeling the blast of the gunpowder, destroying a little rubber troll your mother gave you for christmas when you were six instead of what you really wanted (laser tag), and you kept it anyway because it was a gift that never got played with and ended up lasting a lot longer than you thought because it got stuck in storage..and you discoverd it while looking for targets on the day you purchased your first real gun (twelve gauge, coach shotgun). Now that we are all on the same page, my second gun is an all american GSG 5 (well maybe not ALL american). I hear that all you guys just love them!(Sarcasm) I have played airsoft since my dad bought me a bb gun when I was twelve (back then we used metal instead of plastic bbs). My first plastic shooter was an MP5 look-a-like, hence the purchase of GSG 5. Ok, enough..I also own an RRA lower-soon to be rifle. So Hello, and thanx for reading.
