Hi, introducing myself, hubby has been a member for awhile so I thought I would join too. I am retired and live in Tehama County, born in the beautiful state of Jefferson in Yreka many many years ago. Grew up in Big Springs and Weed then migrated to Livermore and then to Santa Cruz where I was a member of the Santa Cruz Archers for about 7 years. Slowly migrated back up north to Tehama County, been here twenty two years now.

I am into vintage sewing machines, have a hot glass studio where I create glass beads and do quilting amongst several other craft/arts and own several handguns.

I just wanted to introduce myself, since I'm new to CalGun's, and to California!

I'm somewhat of a reluctant resident, moving here for work. I'm excited about getting to know a new state though and hopefully adding to the ranks of intelligent voters around here.

Coming here from Minnesota, I've had a small taste of firearms freedom so it's difficult to get used to the more restrictive laws around here.

I've been shooting handguns and shotguns for the past few years and am hoping to get a rifle sometime this year. Looking for some range buddies near Redondo Beach if anyone is in the area.

Welcome to California! Despite our relatively uptight guns laws I hope you'll find we are otherwise friendly and relaxed.

I'm a new member on CalGuns as well. Did a lot of shooting when I was a kid. Now that my kids are getting old enough to start learning about firearms and we live in the country I started researching making a firearm purchase. I was surprised at how restricted the state has become in the past twenty years. In doing my homework Calguns was popping up on some of my searches and the forums have already been helping me clarify some questions. I'm glad this site is here and that I decided to join the discussions.
