Whereabouts? I'm an expat Texan and I'm always referring my extended family members here for advice on technical questions.

        Got any hot chili recipes?
Or is your favorite blend a secret, and perhaps so hot that it is not safe for California resident consumption?

Thanks! I hail from Central Texas which is being colonized by Californians as we speak. They are all fast studies when learning about important things like firearms, chili, and barbecue!

Arrived in Austin from Los Angeles, and went toa BBQ place.

I asked, "Where are the plates?"

And just got a roll of paper and meat.

You did good. The best places do serve on a sheet of butcher paper. And the only utensil is a Texas-sized steak knife.
