Another newbee here

An acquaintance (who is also a gun enthusiast) directed me to check out this site.

I am a longtime gun owner, but haven't been all that active with shooting sports in a couple of years, and I've always been a novice anyway. I recently got more interested and involved with the political aspect of protecting our Second Amendment rights. I am embarassed that I wasn't more involved over the years.

Anyway, I'll have questions - which you'll see in other forums.

I should have mentioned

I live in San Jose and have been to most of the ranges around the Silicon Valley. I am primarily a handgunner, although I do own a couple of long guns too. Also, I shoot sporting clays once in awhile, although I'm not all that good at it.
