yes they are permitted but a permit is needed from the cheif of police to purchase guns. anyone over 21 can apply for a permit but no guarantee of issuance. i was lucky because my uncle is a retired seargant and knows the cheif really well. i managed to pick up a substantial collection but only brought a benelli nova, sig 220, dan wesson pointman and a 700 tactical in 308 down. everything else was left back with family.Comment
