    How to make new post?

    Hi all,

I am new here--and to firearms--and am having difficulty finding some instruction/info on how to make a "New Post."

I did manage to do something in the "California Handguns" forum, but I'm not sure how I got there.

Is there a difference between "New Thread" and "New Post"?

    Thank you,
    :-)

Simple. Go to the home screen and scroll through the sub forums that is relevant to the topic of the new thread you want to create.

Click on that subforum title, then on the upper left you'll see a button that says NEW POST.

So for example, you want to talk about something non gun related, you'd look for the OFF TOPIC section, and then click NEW POST. There you can talk about memes, yoga pants, food, random news, etc.

Hope that helps, and welcome to the forum

      Two things happen.

      1) Even though I am signed-in (login), when I click on "Home" I am shown as not (right hand side of the blue ribbon). And, there is no "New Post" button.

      2) When I am signed-in and click on a subforum title, I still do not get a "New Post" button, but I do get a "New Thread" button.
      Is there a difference?

Also, at the very bottom of the page I see this:

      Posting Rules
      You may post new threads

Does anyone still pay $1600 for Glock 19x? Looks like Covid price.
