I am pleased to report that I just picked up my new weapons and have joined the flood of gun owners. I grew up with guns, but haven't considered buying any until recent events made me concerned about gun rights and protection. I have lived in California since 1982 and never gave a thought to owning weapons, but just picked up a Glock 19 and a Charles Daly Tactical 12 ga. There was a little hitch in my eligibility review, which took 15 days to resolve, but all's well that ends well.
Now if I could just find some ammo!
Next steps are to install my Sentry gun safe, go to the range, get some training and pick up some lighting.
