    Posting an Ad?

I read the rules for posting an ad but how does one ask a question about posting an ad?
A long time shooter wanters and to sell consecutive serial number pistols from the 1980's that are still in the boxes unfired but he doesn't do the internet.
Is posting an ad for someone against the rules if you include location name and phone number of the seller? It said in the rules it was for the members benefit.
Can I set up an account for him or is that bad juju as well?
Also as someone who has never sold a gun here do you just remove the stuff inside the () and fill it back in? Or remove it completely and fill it in?
Don't want to break any rules just trying to help out a fellow shooter.
Also where should a post like this be posted? Do you post straight to Kestryl or a moderator or put it here under How Too?

    Good questions.

You can post on his behalf using your acct and either have buyers PM (private message) you and where you can provide his phone number and he can go from there.

Use one ad for all pistols and another ad for long guns (one in each subforum). You can use the template for each one just copy and paste.

Post in the Marketplace under handguns and long guns respectively.

Preview your thread before posting and edit, then post it up.

If you do not mind, I would pre-screen buyers for your friend using PMs, then send them your friends' phone number rather than giving it out in the ad as stated above.

Make sure he knows the current requirements if you get a newbie buyer. FSC, CA DL (not federal limits apply), extra ID such as car registration.

Help him price the goodies out with CA/Covid/Shortage prices as you two see fit.

I actually posted the thread but it was deleted that's why I am asking.
I included his and his wife's name and phone number plus location.
I'm afraid if I repost the ad the post will get deleted and a ban will be issued

Send it via PM. I can give it a look-over.
