Man oh man, you have found the wrong place on the internet for that kind of help.
- we will make suggestions about what guns are good to get and remind you that having one gun is nowhere near enough.
- we will find deals, discounts and rebates and let you know about them
- we will not help you decide between two guns, we will tell you to get them both
- we will talk about the latest hot accessory item so much that you will go buy one even though you don't have a gun that it fits on
- we will invite you to participate in group buys of just about anything shooting related and even stuff that is not shooting related
You have found the wrong place.

I think I'm the #2 type. I went down the home theater hole and now have speakers in every room in the house.
Mostly looking for a solid home defense piece (leaning P226 or Glock_). I'm a big guy with big hands, so something ergonomic.Comment

TBH, I had to report Calguns as compliance in a theft. Since I registered on the site a few years ago with the same goal as the OP, a LOT OF DOLLARS has just vanished.
