Greetings to you from a new member. I grew up on farm backed by national forest and had the opportunity to hunt, mostly for small game. I used to hike in the mountains and canyons and got used to carrying a rifle and wouldn't have believed the chaos today about gun ownership. The rights given to us in the 2nd amendment seemed quit natural and protected. I don't hunt so much anymore but I still enjoy shooting and especially the occasion when my son and I can shoot together. I now live in Santee (The San Diego area) and look forward to getting know a few of you.

Welcome! I enjoyed taking my kids shooting in the desert around El Centro, with them grown I am looking forward to taking my grand kids. How times have changed and at the same time the variety of firearms has expanded beyond what we would have imagined 50 years ago. Its both a good time to be a shooter as well very tough times with it only looking to get worse instead of better.Comment

I want to thank all of you he responded to my intro post. I have been very busy since then with family, which will slow now, however I will be out of town until later in April. When I return I expect to get more active and I want to post offer a couple of items for sale. One of those is a 1911 Springfield 45 in new iike condition: more details later.
