NEED LEGAL HELP
Hello ALL-
My name is Bryna and I am a 37 year old single mother. I am member of the NRA. My father served is retired Colonel in the Marines. He gifted me his gun. He lives in PA and I am in CA. The gun is registered in his name. Due to lack of being educated on how to register, I didnt realize that I had to hand in the gun for 10days at the gun store. Rather I filled out the form for the state and sent in the $20.
Long story short but I was walking my dogs on August 12th in the dusk time of day whena uber driver almost ran me over. He claimed I threw dog poo in the car yet it was never found. The police arrested me a 5'8'' female on battery to a 6'3 african american man. It was ridiculous to say the least that I could of hurt or battered him. It was recently thrown out. However,the other day the Hollywood police came to my home and asked for my pistol. They didnt give me a definte reason on why they are taking it but said I'm a probitited person. Later that day when I went to the police station to find out more info, they said I DO NOT HAVE a restrainng order nor am I on probation! SO WHY AM I A PROHIOBITED PERSON!?
I really need help. It is my property and gift from my father. I HAVE A 2A rights! I am a signle mother and have a right to protect myself. Why are they doing this? They must have been alerted because I tried to register it. Someone please help me figure this out. I feel like they think they can take advantage because i'm single mother. I'm very upset and with all the homeless that break in and this caravan coming our way I'm worried and cant sleep well knowing I don't have protection for myself and my son. Please help me.
