Moving to California Soon. Need guidance.

I'll be moving to California soon on military orders and have a few firearms that I have questions about bringing. Hopefully you guys can help me out because I've been getting a lot of mixed information throughout calling police departments and gun stores and looking through the forums.

I have 3 ar-15's, two of the pistol variety, and one rifle (all of these have Franklin Armory Drop in Fixed Magazines), a pump shotgun with tube extension, and 3 handguns that are gen 4 Glocks with threaded barrel.

So a few questions I'm looking to have answered:
Can I keep the Surefire warcomps and Griffen RSTA flash hiders on all of my ar's because they have fixed magazines or will the pistol's have to come off? One of my ar-15 pistols is OAL of 27, can I keep the BCM pistol grip on the front of it or will that have to come off? All of my AR-15's also have Law folding buffer tube adapters. Those are okay on the pistol but not on the rifle even if the rifle is fixed magazine right?

On to the shotgun, I have a supernova with the extension tube. Will I have to take that off or is that okay. I've been told it's okay and not okay, but either way I can only keep 3 shells in the gun max.

And for the Glock pistols. I've been told that threaded barrel are legal to own for handguns here, but they must not be installed or that's bad. I've also been told they can be installed but not fired, which kinda defeats the point of installing it, but was just curious what the verdict was on those as well. One of the Glocks has an ARC muzzle device on it is that legal?

    **Continued from above**
One other thing I've read but not quite sure on is registration. I've been told that because of military orders I would not be required to register any firearms. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that?

To begin with, thank you for your service to our country. Secondly, as long as you are active duty you will not need to register your AR-15 rifles, however, they still must be configured to be California compliant. They will need to have a bullet button on them. Keep a copy of your orders showing that you are stationed in California to show to any LEO that may ask when you are out shooting them!

I think you should probably purchase a few HK vp9 and Glock 19 gen 5.

lol, load up on off roster handguns and sell them for a "small" profit to pay for the mods you need to make your guns complaint.

if you happen to have a Sig P229 Legion 9mm you don't want anymore, i will pay you $200 over the price you paid.

Id leave all your guns in a free state. The socialist laws in CA change every year and are worded in a way that circumvents a standard functioning rifle or pistol. Its hard to know when and when you are not "breaking the law" in CA.

              Also note 2 things:

              1) Only the active-duty member is exempt from registering - if it's a family, guns owned by spouse and children are not exempt.

              2) CA has no way to know to whom your guns actually belong.

Yes, the obvious inference there is correct; just don't 'type it out loud'.
