Thread subscriptions (find threads you've posted in)

Most other forums I belong to have subscription defaults set to No Email Notification. This allows you to go to your User CP to find threads you've posted in. For whatever reason, Calguns does not. No worries.

Newbs guide to turning this feature on:

    -User CP

    -Edit Options

    -Default Thread Subscription Mode

-Change the mode to No Email Notification.

After you've done that, from now on threads that you post in will be automatically subscribed to. Go into Ucer CP to find them.

    Hope this helps.

I just click on my user name and do "find threads (or posts) by". Faster for me.

The great thing about subscriptions is that they show when someone has responded to you or to the thread. A lot easier to stay in the discussion. No need to chase every single one of your posts to make sure you didn't miss a response. I personally find the User CP/subscriptions utility more efficient.

You can see that as well, the envelope icon is open with stuff sticking out of it. I think the color of the envelope is dictated by the number of new posts.

          Ok perfect!

Now there's two options to stay in touch with your discussions.
