I just wanted to say hello!

I am not currently a gun owner but I hope to be soon, and I figure this is a good place to set up camp to get information. I used to live in Maryland where the laws where lax enough, but I understand California has very strict rules and regs.

Is it possible to carry a pistol holstered in the city of San Francisco?

I know the Supreme Court ruling in DC pretty much ensures my right to own firearms, weather or not this has been fixed in California yet, but I hope its not to impossible to own and carry.

Also, anyone in the Bay Area know of a good range and shop? I doubt there are any ranges in SF and I think there is only like one gun store, any suggestions?

Welcome to CGN lcr, im sure if you look in the vendors section you can find a gunshop close to you, there are quite a few in the bay area, and even a gun range or two! Being in the bay area, pistol carry rules is pretty hardcore, look thru the legal forum and post questions there for specifics! Look forward to reading your posts!
