New member here, will soon be a first-time gun buyer (though not owner, I have a Remington 700, a 90 year old Savage .22, and a 100 year old Colt New Service .38-40 (You think YOUR ammo is hard to get...) that were left to me by my grandfather).
Currently looking into getting a carry pistol, I'm someone who, when they decide to learn about something needs to learn EVERYTHING about that thing, so I'm suffering from a little bit of paralysis by analysis. My current frontrunner is a SIG 229, if I can find a used one (new is a little out of my price range). My wife will be getting a Glock 19 (specifically, a Tiffany Blue Glock 19).
